A collection of performance style self-portraits taken throughout the duration of my Fine Art degree. Inspiration to pursue this style of photography steamed from researching American artist, Francesca Woodman. Portraits then evolved to incorporate aspects of animal-representation through use of make up, contacts and props such as plinths. These materials aided in channeling the colour scheme of the Latrodecus Mactans (Southern Black Widow) to portray fascination, connection and admiration towards spiders.
